ABP Newport Marathon Festival

Experience one of the UK's flattest marathons. Enjoy an unbeatable Welsh sporting welcome.

It’s route offers iconic landmarks, like the city’s Transporter Bridge and the stunning scenery of the Gwent Levels – with its coastal wildlife and picturesque medieval villages.

Newport is definitely a city on the rise, steeped in history with a multi-cultural vibe – complete with artisan breweries and a rich musical heritage. Races start and finish on the vibrant riverfront in the heart of the regenerated city-centre.

Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay 10K

A fun spring-time race in Cardiff’s historic Bay.

The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run is a flat, fast and friendly event for all ages and abilities, that forms part of the Healthspan Wales 10K Series.

The 10K course takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finishing in Roald Dahl Plass and passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

Ogi Porthcawl 10K

An exciting race in a bustling seaside resort. 

The Porthcawl 10K is an exciting race in the town known for surf, sports and coastal walks, and forms part of the Healthspan Wales 10K Series. It returns for 2022 on Sunday 3 July.

A summertime hotspot for both locals and visitors – Porthcawl is renowned for shining under the sun. The 10K race takes place on closed-roads, taking in a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the picturesque town centre, historic Grand Pavillion and the iconic Porthcawl Lighthouse.

A host of other sporting activities for families and children are also included in the day’s action – including an electrifying Family Fun Run, giving budding athletes a chance to take their first footsteps into running.

CDF 10K

The CDF 10k has been added to run for Wales portfolio world class, mass participation events.

This iconic and historical event has given 1000s of as the opportunity to take the streets in the heart of the Welsh capital as part of the race set to become one of the U.K.’s largest distance events.

Cardiff Half Junior

With smiling faces, fancy dress, and (fingers crossed) a bright blue sky, the Cardiff Half Junior will prove to be a thrilling start to the Principality Building Society Cardiff Half Marathon weekend.

The event offers a no-pressure, family-focused Fun Run, a Toddler Dash for those taking their first steps into physical activity and a Future Challengers race for talented young athletes and junior club runners looking for an accessible and competitive race.
