NatWest (Messages of Support) Online Promotion on Capital, June-July 2024 – Specific Rules
1. The NatWest Messages of Support online promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Friday 28th June to Sunday 14th July 2024 on Capital. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is NatWest and the ‘Prize Provider’ is NDL (flights, transfers & insurance), Global (spending money), and NatWest (GB Merch), Team GB (GB House Tickets) and On Location (Olympic event & hotel packages).
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.
Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at capitalfm.com/win, register your details and submit an answer to the question provided.
4. Online entry will open at 17:00 on Friday 28th June 2024 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 14th July 2024. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.
5. Within 3 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via email or telephone on the telephone number with which you registered to enter. If such winner does not respond within 1 day from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 1 day of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.
6. We, the Promotion Partner and the prize providers may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
7. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.
Eligibility:
8. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, who are based in the UK at the time of entry.
9. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.
10. Entrants and their guest must have a valid UK passport and be available to travel between Tuesday 30th July and Wednesday 31st July 2024, flying out from Luton Airport in London. Should the winner be unable to travel on these dates, they will forfeit the prize.
Prize:
11. One winning entrant will receive a trip for two to see Team GB compete in Paris, including:
a. Return flights for 2 people from London Luton to Paris, flying out on Tuesday 30th July and returning on Wednesday 31st July 2024
b. Return transfers from the airport to the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel
c. Travel insurance
d. Spending money - £500
e. 4* hotel including breakfast – Novotel Paris – for one night from Tuesday 30th July – Wednesday 31st July 2024.
f. 2 tickets to Rugby Sevens (Women’s Semi Finals Bronze & Gold Medal matches) on Tuesday 30th July – 14.30 – 20.45 (Silver Package – Cat A)

Prize Terms and Conditions:
12. NDL are the Prize Provider of the flights, transfers & travel insurance, which includes the following terms and conditions:
a. The flight will depart from London Luton on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at 06:05 arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 08:25 and will depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle on Wednesday 31st July 2024 at 18:05 arriving at London Luton at 18:20. Winners must be able to travel on these dates.
b. Prize includes return economy flights, all flight taxes and surcharges but doesn’t include any checked in luggage. If you don’t hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. Please note the cost of a visa of this kind isn’t included in your prize.
c. Due to the ever-changing travel advice in relation to world events, we would advise that you look at all the information available with regards to the entry requirements of the destination you are travelling to, before selecting your dates. To understand the risks in a country, follow FCDO Travel Advice. You can find information online at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. It is your responsibility to comply with any requirements for entering France and upon returning to the UK. The Prize Provider cannot be held responsible for the winner not having the correct travel documentation or following any entry regulations.
d. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.
e. Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply. Should NDL Group be unable to purchase travel insurance on the winner’s behalf, a cash sum of £15.00 will be provided to the winner via bank transfer.
13. On Location is the Prize Provider of the accommodation and event tickets, which includes the following terms and conditions:
a. One winning entrant will receive a one-night stay for 2 people at the 4* Hotel Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel (including breakfast) on Tuesday 30th July 2024.
b. They will also receive two tickets to the Rugby Sevens (Women’s Semi Finals Bronze & Gold Medal matches) on Tuesday 30th July – 14.30 – 20.45 (Silver Package – Cat A) (the ‘Event’).
c. Ticket holders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
d. The tickets will arrive via the "Paris 2024 Tickets" app, which can now be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play Store. This is the official ticketing application for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Free of charge, this application is the only way to retrieve your tickets.
e. Tickets will be seated.
f. You and any permitted guest or travel companion will be bound by any third-party terms and conditions applicable to the Prize including, without limitation, the ticket terms and conditions set out on the ticket and/or available here in the purchase policy and here in the terms of use.
g. We are not liable or responsible if you fail to attend the Event for any reason. If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will either secure tickets for the winner to attend the rescheduled Event if practical (the date and time will be decided solely between us and the Prize Provider) or, at our discretion, provide an alternative prize.
h. We shall not be responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by you in relation to the Event unless they form part of the Promotion prize, including any expenditure incurred by you for any postponed or cancelled Event.
i. We are not responsible or liable for any event delay or cancellation outside of our control. Any expenditure incurred by you ahead of any postponed or cancelled Event is your responsibility only.
14. Team GB are the Prize Provider of Team GB House tickets, which includes the following terms and conditions:
a. The tickets will arrive via the Team GB House Ticket Wallet app.
b. Tickets will be delivered to the winner closer to the date of the event by Global.
c. You and any permitted guest or travel companion will be bound by any third-party terms and conditions applicable to the Prize including, without limitation, the ticket terms and conditions set out on the ticket and/or available here and venue rules available here.
d. We are not liable or responsible if you fail to attend the Event for any reason. If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will either secure tickets for the winner to attend the rescheduled Event if practical (the date and time will be decided solely between us and the Prize Provider) or, at our discretion, provide an alternative prize.
e. We shall not be responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by you in relation to the Event unless they form part of the Promotion prize, including any expenditure incurred by you for any postponed or cancelled Event.

15. Global are the prize provider of the £500 cash and we will endeavour to transfer the prize money to your bank account within 3 days of the winner claiming their prize, but are not responsible for any delays. You must provide all necessary details via the method directed within 14 days after the original request to do so otherwise the prize will be forfeited at our discretion.
16. Team GB x NatWest Merchandise bundle will be sent out by Global within 28 days of the close of the Promotion. The merchandise bundle will consist of a hoodie, a water bottle, a trolley key, a phone charger, a notepad and pen, a tote bag and a t-shirt.
17. This prize must be taken in its entirety, elements of the prize will not be awarded individually. If the winner cannot redeem all elements of the prize we may re-award the prize to another entrant.
18. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.
19. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
20. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).
21. If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 23 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
22. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
23. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.
24. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection:
26. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
27. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.
28. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotion Partner will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.
29. We, our Promotion Partner and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we and the Promotion Partner will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.
30. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
31. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable
